Journey Church is non-denominational contemporary Christian church whose purpose is to
"lead today’s generation on their next step towards God."

Our unique vision is to provide a culturally relevant environment where life issues and spiritual questions are explored in a way that makes sense. Our music style is like what you hear on a top 40 station. Our motto is “Casual Environment. Serious Faith!”

Our Story

In today’s society, it’s becoming clearer that people do want to know God, but not church.

Back in the Spring of 2004, Chad and Angela Pfeifer began dreaming a dream of a unique church. Not just another church – but a new type of church.

A place that was culturally in tune the issues and questions people had on their hearts.
A place that was freeing, liberating and empowering.
A place where people and families experienced genuine community.
A place where people from all walks of life would discover their unique purpose and be equipped to fulfill that purpose.

During this journey, Chad was serving as lead pastor in northern Indiana. In April of 2006 the Pfeifer’s announced their family’s vision for the Fishers area and greater Hamilton County to launch what we now call "Journey Church."

As friends and family begin reflecting on this vision, several other couples volunteered to relocate in the summer of 2006 and serve as the initial leadership/launch team. Since then, many individuals and families have gathered together to fulfill the purpose of "connecting this generation to God by helping others to take their next steps on their spiritual journey."
