It finally happened to me........

Yup, I thought it would sometime - just not today. Especially on a busy, tightly scheduled day.

CRASH

My laptop wouldn't boot up, turn on and go into windows, so I dropped it off at Best Buy this morning. On my way there, I thought to myself "what am I going to do today, because all of my work is on that thing!!". I backed it up three weeks ago, but unfortunetely the messages I'm working on now are on that computur. Thankfully I sent Kyla those two messages earlier, and she sent them to my wife's computer so I could do some "Tweaking" as we approach the weekend.

This coming weekend we will enjoy the message behind the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness", the popular and moving film starring Will Smith as Chris Gardner, a real-life stock-investor whose determination won him a position at Dean Witter in the early 80's. I saw this movie around Christmas, and if I had not seen the last 5 minutes, I think I would have slit my wrists and left God....yea, the movie is that tough to watch until you find out what happens at the end!

Learning From Movies

I have always been a lover of movies, except in the last four years I haven't been able to attend a whole lot because parenthood. Invariably, I'll see a movie and tell ten friends to go see it because of it's powerful message.
Have you ever experienced a moment of life-change watching a movie? I'm sure most of us have. They have a powerful affect on us and shape the way we think.

That's why I am excited about our upcoming series 'REEL TRUTH'

There's been some great themes on screen in recent months, so we thought..."why not do something unique with using movies for a series?"

So this Sunday, we begin with "Spiderman 3" I went to see it and thought "yup, I have struggled like Peter Parker (except for the spidey-powers!)"

Join us for the fun!
